Last day of preschool

Carter had his last day of preschool for the year a couple of weeks ago. I am so glad I put Carter in preschool this year! We both really enjoyed it :o)

Mother's Day at the beach

I had a very nice Mother's day at the beach. The weather was simply wonderful and spending the day with my family was nice. I did get a chance to relax by the pool all to myself so that was nice too. We ended the day with a yummy dinner without the kids; which was a real treat!

I guess Campbell decided on day 2 that she might as well get use to the sand if we were going to put her in it! She covered herself from head to toe in sand! Thankfully she didn't eat it; although we were waiting for her to!

Beach day 1

We had a wonderful time at the beach with Mimi and Pop Pop, Uncle Kirk, Aunt Lacy and Madi! The weather was perfect, not too hot and humid and not crowded at all! I have declared that the first part of May we will always go to the beach! Sitting on the beach for Mother's Day was simply a joy! Carter loved everything about the beach, Campbell on the other hand wasn't so sure. She DID NOT like the ocean and the first day she DID NOT like the sand! She screamed and cried when she touched it the first day. She did love the inflatable pool on the beach and hung out in there playing with her sand bucket like it was a purse! On day 2 she decided to embrace the sand; a little too much!

We signed the contingency contract last week on our lot! Exciting, but we still need to sell our current one first! We also went to the design center to pick our everything. Fun but overwhelming!!

Carter's 1st swim lesson

Last week was very busy for us. Mim (Brandon's mom to the kids) came to visit. Brandon and I escaped one night to Chateau Elan for a much needed break while Mim remembered what it was like to have 2 little ones! Brandon also celebrated his 30th birthday! Carter and Mim planted beautiful red geraniums in various pots in the back and front yards. Carter really loved spending time with Mim. She got to watch Carter play soccer and watch his first swim lesson! What a fun week and now we are missing Mim!
