Watch this Mom

At least I got the dishwasher unloaded! Carter enjoyed pulling everything out of the cabinet this afternoon! He had so much fun and like I said, I was able to get the dishwasher unloaded without 2 little hands trying to help!! Now I have lots of plastic ware that needs washing!

Brandon and I just got back from a wonderful trip to The Grove Park Inn Resort and Spa in Asheville, NC. We celebrated our 4 year anniversary on the 19th! The Grove Park Inn is simply heavenly! We spent most of the day on the 19th at the spa! I understand now why people get so hooked on spas! On Friday we spent the day at the Biltmore Estate! Talk about beautiful! Brandon's mom, "Mim" was here to baby-sit Carter so we could "get away!" We had a great time and we were sad to see it end but also so happy to see Carter!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CARTER!

I can not believe that my little "Carter bug" is 1 today! What a wonderful year we have had! I was sad at moments today; he is growing way too fast! We feel very blessed to have such an amazing little boy!

Even though Carter's 1st birthday is on Tuesday the 10th we had his celebration this weekend with family in town! We had a wonderful day! Carter LOVED the cake! He thought it was the perfect size for his face! Carter ate all his cake; what didn't fall in the floor!

Peanuts

Last week Carter discovered shipping peanuts! Brandon's mom, Mim, sent a huge box of gifts for birthday and Easter. Since Carter was so interested in the shipping peantus as they fell out of the box once opened, I decided to put him in the box! He had so much fun! Carter was throwing peanuts everywhere!

Easter egg hunt

Carter had his 1st Easter egg hunt this weekend. He wasn't very fond of the stiff Bermuda grass! All he did was cry when he touched it; I don't blame him! However, he loved the eggs, he wouldn't let go of them! Our neighborhood had an Easter "Egg"stravaganza this weekend complete with a moon walk, face painting and hunting Easter eggs! It was a beautiful day! This is actually Carter's 2nd Easter, before he turns 1 next week! His 1st Easter he was less than a week old! Wow, the difference a year can make!
