Easter
We had a very nice Easter this year. While Campbell really had no clue, Carter enjoyed all the fun! He especially loved that the Easter Bunny brought him some chocolate! Carter LOVES chocolate! Our neighborhood had an Easter egg hunt and all Carter wanted to do was play ball! He also isn't in to getting his picture taken so I just have to snap away and hope that some of them turn out! We enjoyed a very nice family day!

Success . . . dentist and hair cut!
Carter had his first dentist appointment today! He did SO SO well! Even the doctor was extremely impressed with how well he did. Carter sat back in the chair like such a big boy, the doctor cleaned his teeth and even did a fluoride treatment! Only a few tears were shed but Carter opened his mouth like we had practiced at home! Carter got 3 toys from the treasure chest for doing so well! 2 balls and a pair of sunglasses! The sunglasses were then worn for our next adventure . . . Carter's 7th hair cut at Pigtails & Crewcuts! Carter sat in a "taxi chair" for this cut. He wore the cape, ate crackers and didn't even fuss when she got out the clippers, scissors and razor! I was totally impressed with Carter today! He is really growing up and my how fast it is all happening! We had Campbell in tow through Carter's adventuresome day and she slept the whole time; even through our yummy lunch at Chick-fil-A! Must have been something in the air today, or I am doing something right!

2 month stats
Weight: 9 lbs. 15 oz. (30th %)
Height: 23 1/4 inches (80th %)
Carter was 11 lbs. 9 oz. and 24 inches at his 2 month mark.
Obviously we need to work on Campbell gaining weight! The Dr. thinks she has a slight case of acid reflux which is causing her to not eat as much. She is now on a medicine to help with that so hopefully she will gain more weight. Everything else is just fine, she got her first set of shots and did very well! Campbell is sleeping an average of 8 hours a night! What a blessing!

Campbell is 2 months
Bunny from Mimi
Over the weekend, my parents brought my grandmother over to meet Campbell. We had a nice family weekend. Mimi gave Campbell the sweet, soft bunny in the first picture. Of course, I had to monogram it! Campbell turned 2 months old on Sunday! My how time really flies! She is still sleeping at night 6-8 hour stretches and the other night she actually went 10 hours! Though last night she only went 4 hours! Still no pattern yet but hopefully that will come soon! Campbell is a total snuggle bunny! She is the most content in someones arms and loves to be held close! If only, I could hold her all day long! She is starting to smile more and her coos are adorable! Carter is talking up a storm; he has so many new words! We are also working on counting and the alphabet. He has mastered walking up and down stairs and is becoming a pro at sports. Over the weekend, his Pop taught him about golf which lead to a trip to the store for a golf set! He will be out on the links in no time! With the nice weather he has had a few wagon rides complete with a soccer ball and football to play with at the park! I love watching my children grow and learn but I sure do wish they would stay little forever!

Fun at the park
7 weeks (last week)
What a beautiful day at the park we had! There is a brand new park close to our house so I took Carter and Campbell to have a play date with Vivian. Carter and Vivian had so much fun! The slide was a big hit! We are so excited for warm weather approaching and fun days at the park! I finally got around to putting Campbell's 7 week picture online! Campbell is sleeping like a champ! She is sleeping in her crib now and the other night she slept 8 hours!!!!! Yahoo!!

6 week old Valentine
6 weeks old
Here it is, Campbell is almost 7 weeks old and I am just now getting to her 6 week pictures! There really aren't enough hours in the day! Last week we took Carter and Campbell to our neighborhood park to play. Brandon and Carter played soccer and football while Campbell slept peacefully and I took pictures! Campbell enjoyed her 1st Valentine's day complete with the adorable outfit she got from one of Brandon's co-workers! In the last picture Carter is "playing" X-box! Really he isn't, we took the batteries out of the control, but he thought he was playing! I wonder how long we will be able to pull of that trick?! Campbell is doing great, she expressed her 1st smile on the 16th! She has lots of smiles first thing in the morning, maybe because she is sleeping 6-7 hours and we are all smiles about that! Her head is getting stronger and she is even starting to get in a routine. Although, some days are better than others! I took both kids to the mall last week and was very proud of myself! After getting in the mall with 2 kids in a double stroller I had to call Brandon and my mom to gloat! It was nice to get out of the house during the week. Lately I have reserved the weekend for all my errands when Brandon can hang out with the kids! Brandon is such a good sport, I was gone most of the afternoon on Sunday and Monday while he had time with the kids! He was exhausted by the end of the days . . . but now he knows what my days are like! Carter is doing great as well! He is talking up a storm and tries to repeat everything we say to him. His favorite words are, "I got it," "Cool," and "Oh no." When he is playing soccer he runs around after the ball saying, "I got it!" While playing basketball he says, "Oh no," when he misses the hoop! Carter 's favorite thing to sleep with is his basbeall glove and baseball! Obviously Carter is going to follow in his daddy's athletic footsteps!

3 weeks

Campbell has done better this past week at night. The last 4 nights she is sleeping every 3 hours, waking to eat, and then going back to sleep. I started her in the Miracle Blanket and I think that was the key. Last night she actually went 5 hours before her first feeding! I believe I am starting to see the light at the end of this sleep deprived tunnel!

2nd Snow
Carter and Campbell had a fun weekend with their 2nd snow arriving on Saturday! We bundled Campbell up for a picture, she of course slept the whole time. Carter had fun playing in the snow and we literally had to drag him inside! This child LOVES being outside. My brother, Kirk and his wife Lacy came over on Saturday to meet Campbell for the 1st time. They are expecting their 1st baby in July! I tired to get my brother to practice changing diapers but he passed on the offer! Campbell is doing well. Although, she has a hard time sleeping in the wee hours of the morning!

2 weeks old
Campbell is 2 weeks old and doing well. Yesterday on her 2 week mark we went out to dinner! We achieved many firsts yesterday! It was the 1st time out to dinner with 2 kids, the 1st time in the car with 2 kids and both Carter's and Campbell's 1st snow! My parents are still here so we had their extra hands at dinner. Campbell slept the whole time though so it wasn't too hard. Carter loved watching the huge snow flakes fall and of course wanted to go outside to play. The other day, my mom and I took Campbell out for her 1st shopping trip! Again, she slept the whole 4 hours we were gone! Campbell is doing just great. She is staying awake a little longer during the day and at night too!! She is filling in her newborn clothes better and her hair is growing in more. Carter is totally smitten with her and he loves to hold and kiss her! He is just counting down the days until she can play ball with him!
