Asleep IN the pool

Campbell was so relaxed in this new float that she fell asleep! Yes, she should be sitting up but because Campbell is so light weight she isn't heavy enough to keep her legs down in the float! She was leaning backwards like it was a lounge float and went to sleep! What a life!

Carter's first ride with a friend

This is Ben and his Corvette! Carter wasn't so sure about the ride at first but did indeed enjoy it. It was hard for me to get Carter to leave the car after the ride! Hopefully Santa was watching!

Tummy time

The minute Campbell is put down on her back she rolls over right away! She loves her tummy time. This is also how she sleeps at night. I will go in there to roll her over and 5 minutes later she is back on her stomach!

Pool party

Our Sunday school class had a pool party a couple of weeks ago. Carter had fun swimming and playing; he especially loved the airplane float. Campbell enjoyed the water too and then took her usual snooze by the pool!

Visit with friends

Last week my friend Jenn, her husband Zach and their baby Luke came for a visit. Zach was here on business so they stayed at our house so the kids could play. Luke is 3 months old; this was the first time we got to meet him and they got to meet Campbell. We really enjoyed their visit and look forward to many more to come since Zach will be driving through Atlanta a lot.

weight: 13 lbs. 2 oz. (8th%)
height: 26 1/4 inches (75th%)
head: 16 1/2 inches (45th%)

The doctor isn't terribly worried about her weight unless it falls off the charts! She said I could start putting butter in Campbell's veggies that I make; we did butter and olive oil in Carter's food when he was 9 months!

Happy 4th of July

We had a good 4th of July. We just stayed home and enjoyed a fun family day. We made a huge breakfast, grilled out hamburgers, played at the pool and back yard and ended the day

with watching fireworks. Carter loved watching the fireworks and saying, "boom" every time! He got so excited telling Campbell to look at the fireworks. We enjoyed the day celebrating our country's birthday!

Madison Elizabeth Kelly is born

My brother and his wife had their baby girl, Madison Elizabeth on Thursday July 3rd. Madi was born at 4:09pm weighing 8lbs. 5oz. and 20.5 inches long. The new family is doing well; even with lack of some sleep. Meanwhile, we are all looking forward to meeting our niece and lst cousin!
